If you have any additional needs please let our staff know so that we can help you, and also ensure you get the same support in the future.

Disabled Access

Our aim is to enable all our patients to use the services at our sites as easily as possible.

 

Sheepmarket Surgery

All clinical services in our building are offered on the ground floor with easy access to rooms.  

There are four parking spaces outside the surgery which are reserved for patients (identified by a disabled sign).

There is a wheelchair available for use in the surgery

We have disabled toilet facilities.

We have an on-site lift to provide access to the first floor if needed.

We have a Portable Loop Facility in the surgery to assist patients with hearing aids. Please ask at Reception if you wish to use this piece of equipment either at the reception desk itself or when you see a doctor or nurse in their consulting room.

 

St Mary’s Medical Centre

The majority of our consulting rooms are located on the ground floor with good access.  Occasionally some clinics are held on the first floor. If you have difficulty climbing the stairs please inform a member of the Reception Team and alternative arrangements will be made for you.

The surgery entrance is suitable for wheelchair access.  If help is needed accessing the building please ring the bell and a member of the Reception Team will assist you.

Disabled Parking – Blue Badge Scheme

The Blue Badge Scheme is for people with severe mobility problems. It allows Blue Badge holders to park close to where they need to go.

Loop System

We have a loop induction system at Reception to assist the hearing impaired. 

Blind/Partially Sighted

If you or your family members are blind or partially sighted we can give you an accessible electronic version or large print of our Practice leaflet upon request. Please ask our staff for further information.

Guide Dogs

Guide dogs are welcome at the Practice but we ask that you be aware of other patients and staff who may have an allergy or fear of dogs.
