Repeat Prescriptions

We will process your repeat prescription request and send it to your chosen pharmacy within 3 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

Sometimes we may not be able to issue your prescription straight away—for example, if:

  • you are due a medication review,
  • your medicine is not on repeat, or
  • you need important monitoring (such as blood tests, blood pressure checks, or an ECG).

If this happens, we will contact you within 3 working days to let you know what action you need to take.

Once your prescription has been approved by us, please allow extra time for your pharmacy or dispensary to prepare your medication.

To help avoid delays:

  • Please request your medication one week before you will need it.
  • Make sure to respond promptly to any letters or text messages asking you to book monitoring appointments for your medication review.

Both St Mary’s and Sheepmarket sites are closed from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

St Mary's closes at 5pm daily while, the dispensary at Sheepmarket is open until 6pm.
