Stamford Surgery Car Park

Please help us keep our car parks available for patient care

We have recently seen more people using our car parks at Sheepmarket Surgery and St Mary’s Medical Centre when they’re not visiting for healthcare. This makes it harder for our patients to find a space when they need care.

Keeping these spaces available helps us provide safe, timely, and accessible care for everyone.

Who can use our car parks?

Our car parks are for patients visiting the practice for care, including:

  • Attending a booked appointment
  • Arriving for a planned procedure, nursing appointment, or group clinic
  • Collecting medication
  • Dropping off a prescription request
  • Asking a question or speaking with our team
  • Parents or carers bringing a child for care

Registering your vehicle

The car registration tablets previously located in reception have been removed.

When you arrive, simply give your number plate to our reception team and they will register your vehicle for you.

Parking times have changed at both sites:

  • 15 minutes to register your vehicle
  • 45-minute maximum stay

If your visit takes longer than 45 minutes, just let reception know before you leave so we can update the system and avoid any issues such as a parking fine.

Who should use alternative parking?

  • People visiting nearby shops or local businesses
  • Anyone not attending the practice for care

How you can help

Please only use our parking spaces if you are accessing care at the practice. This helps us keep spaces available for those who need them most. Supporting accessible parking is an important part of delivering safe, effective care for our local community.
