Stamford Town Bridge

Important Travel Information

Stamford Town Bridge will be closed from July to September 2025 while essential repairs take place to protect the historic structure for the future.

What this means for patients:

• Please allow extra time to get to the practice, especially if you usually cross the bridge. Vehicle and walking routes will be diverted.
• Diversion signs will be in place for both drivers and pedestrians.
• Car parks on both sides of the river will remain open during the works.
